Whirlpool Factory (Łódź) The Whirlpool factory, located in Łódź, Poland, is hiring men up to 45 years old. This factory specializes in the production of household appliances such as dryers and stoves. Knowledge of English is mandatory. Job responsibilities include production and assembly of: Employee Responsibilities: Assembly of components according to instructions using a screwdriver and other tools (baskets, wires, timers, buttons, and seals). Visual quality control and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Work is performed at a fast pace — one cycle lasts from 40 seconds to 1 minute. Detailed process description: The worker must press the “stop” button to halt the line with the dishwasher/dryer. According to the instructions, the necessary parts should be taken from the shelves and drawers at the workstation. All parts, cables, screws, and bulbs are within easy reach. Assemble the components in the order specified in the instructions. Check the quality of the completed operation. Press the button to resume the line. Noise levels in the workshop do not exceed acceptable norms, but earplugs may be used. The workshop is warm with very low humidity. Some workstations involve the use of industrial chemicals, adhesives, laundry powders, and dishwasher capsules during final product quality checks. People with allergies should take this into consideration.
Payment
The hourly rate depends on the worker’s age and status:
• Up to 26 years old: 24,5 PLN neto;
• 26 years and older: 24 PLN neto;
• With student status: 30,5 PLN neto.
There are no performance quotas.
Work Schedule
• 5 workdays per week.
• Shifts are 8 hours long, scheduled from 6-14, 14-22, 22-6.
• A 15-minute lunch break is included, along with two additional 5-minute breaks.
The warehouse features a cafeteria, vending machines, refrigerators, and affordable meal options. Uniform and Equipment Every employee is provided with workwear and footwear.
Accommodation Employees hired through our agency can stay in a hostel. Cost of accommodation: 550 PLN net per month. Transport to work is by public bus. We help purchase a monthly ticket (130 PLN is deducted from the salary). Employees who arrange their own housing receive a 250 PLN monthly allowance.
