Order Picker at Biedronka Warehouse

Locations: Koszalin, Olsztyn, Kostrzyn, Sieradz, Tarnów.
Who we need: Men up to 45 years old (good eyesight and strong back required). Must be ready for physically demanding and fast-paced work. Russian language required.
Citizenship accepted: Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova.


Job Responsibilities:

Order picking – fast collecting of boxes onto pallets (fruits, vegetables, drinks, chips, alcohol). Boxes up to 20 kg.

  1. Before the shift:

    • Employee logs into the system using a voice terminal Wojs – a device that tells which items to take and from which shelves.

    • Takes an electric pallet truck to move around the warehouse.

  2. During picking:

    • The voice system says the shelf (slot) number where the required item is located.

    • The worker drives to the shelf, takes the correct box, and scans its barcode.

    • Places the box onto the pallet, arranging it by levels to avoid damage.

    • Works very quickly and repeats the process until the order is complete.

  3. After the order is collected:

    • Wraps the pallet with film.

    • Delivers the pallet to the loading zone.

    • Marks the order as completed in the system.

Requirements

Salary:

  • Under 26: 26 PLN/hour for the first month; from the second month – piecework (payment per box).

  • Over 26: 25 PLN/hour for the first month; from the second month – piecework.

  • Students: 30.5 PLN/hour (300 PLN training fee) for the first month; from the second – piecework with a bonus +0.01 PLN per packed box.


Work Schedule:

Three shifts:

  • 06:00–14:00

  • 14:00–22:00

  • 22:00–06:00

On average 25 shifts per month.
Break: 15 minutes during the first month, 30 minutes under piecework.
During peak season extra hours are possible; in Koszalin during summer shifts may be up to 12 hours.


Accommodation:

3–4 people per room, mostly with single beds (not bunk beds).
Costs:

  • Koszalin, Kostrzyn – 450 PLN/month

  • Olsztyn, Tarnów, Sieradz – 350 PLN/month

Bring your own dishes and bedding (we can provide bedding if necessary).
Minimum work period: 3 months.

Additional Benefits:

  • Work clothes provided (boots, pants, vest, cap, fleece jacket)

  • Warehouse temperature: +15°C

  • Salary paid on the 20th of each month for the previous month

  • 2-week notice required for resignation

  • If the worker stays more than 1 month, we cover the cost of sanitary book and forklift certificate.
    If less than 1 month – cost is 300 PLN.


Important:

  • Alcohol test before every shift (we do not accept workers with alcohol problems)

  • You must learn numbers 1–10 and colors in Polish, and how to use the Wojs system

  • On the first working day: training on pallet trucks, Wojs system, and scanner

  • For the next 2–3 days the foreman supervises the new worker

  • On the 3rd day the worker starts independently (still under control)


Training Schedule (1 month):

You must gradually increase the speed of picking:

  • Week 1 – 100 boxes/hour

  • Week 2 – 150 boxes/hour

  • Week 3 – 180 boxes/hour

  • Week 4 – 200 boxes/hour (standard norm)
